Click species names below (or download 2008 report) to see maps showing the recorded distribution of selected species in Co Waterford during April-July
of 2006-2008, based on records compiled to date. Click here for selection of national maps.
For some species, only 2008 records are shown, including maps of
breeding seabirds giving a breakdown of numbers by tetrad. For combined 2006-2008 maps, only basic distribution (by
2-km tetrad) is shown currently but symbols for proven, probable and possible breeding will be added later. (Maps below,
apart from those of breeding seabirds, also include migrants, non-breeding summer-visitors, and 'fly-over' records.) Preliminary
maps will be added for a wider range of species as the survey progresses. Last updated 25 June 2009.
Also included for a smaller number of species are maps from
winters 2007/08 - 2008/09.
